Sarasota, FL, May 9, 2006 - Invisa Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: INSA - News) and Automatic Control Systems, Inc. (ACS) today announced that Valencia, California based Engineered Parking Systems, Inc. (EPS) is now the latest in a growing list of parking gate manufacturers to join the Company's OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Partner Program. This latest addition brings participation in Invisa's OEM program to seven manufacturers. EPS has been producing parking, access and revenue control systems since the 1960's, and the company will now start integrating Invisa's SmartGate® non-contact gate safety technology into at least a portion of their line of parking gate operator and control products at the time of manufacture. In addition, EPS will recommend to their installed client base that they consider installation of SmartGate technology as an aftermarket retrofit to ensure safety by preventing pedestrian/cyclist injury and property damage.

Kevin Frump, President of Engineered Parking Systems, stated, "I am happy to say that SmartGate truly meets our parameters for offering marked increases and improvement in gate safety operation, and it is for that fact that we are pleased to now be counted among Invisa's OEM partners. We have been in the parking access control business for almost half a century, and if there is one thing we have learned is that when a new technology for increasing gate operator safety comes along, we must assess it carefully. We need to have the utmost confidence that the technology can truly enhance gate operator safety and must be assured that it has been tested and proven to the point that it has the potential for becoming an industry standard. Only then would we consider integrating that new technology into our systems engineering process."

Mr. Frump continued, "We may not be the largest manufacturer in the program, but for that very reason integrating SmartGate into our products makes even more sense - we do not have the much deeper pockets of our larger competitors so as a result we are even more vulnerable to irreparable damage to our business from a product-related product liability lawsuit than are our larger industry brethren. SmartGate helps to minimize risk in the use of our products, and that is one wave we cannot afford to miss."

Invisa's line of SmartGate safety equipment is the only electronic non-contact safety system designed to provide an invisible field that moves with and precedes the gate arm. If the gate arm is coming down on a pedestrian, bicycle, motorcycle, car or other vehicle, the gate arm is signaled to stop and reverse before any contact has been made to avoid injury and damage.

Invisa's Chief Operating Officer, Carl Parks stated, "We have been working with EPS for some time now selling our SmartGate products to their clients looking to upgrade the safety of installed parking gate systems. We take our leadership position in the access control parking gate market seriously and are extremely pleased that EPS is now actively endorsing the InvisaShield™ line by formally joining our OEM program. Like each of the other six participating manufacturers, EPS has required Invisa to 'earn the right' via exhaustive testing and operation of our systems in the real world before we could become the safety solution they will be confidently recommending to reduce injuries, property damage and liability exposure throughout their customer chain."

Mr. Parks continued, "We are very pleased with the success of our OEM Partner Program to date. In the program's short existence, seven leading manufacturers have announced adoption of InvisaShield as their preferred safety solution. We anticipate that as the program continues to gain momentum and sell through in the marketplace, we will see many, if not all of the remaining manufacturers come on board."

Mr. Parks of Invisa concluded, "ACS is a technology leader in the parking gate market and we are pleased that they have chosen to integrate our SmartGate safety equipment into their long-term product strategy. We believe that our relationship with ACS will not only benefit Invisa's penetration in the U.S. market but will also significantly expand our global presence."

About Invisa
Invisa presence-sensing solutions serve the electronic life safety and security markets. Invisa's proprietary InvisaShield technology is based upon capacitive sensing and is resistant to known methods of circumvention without employing infrared, laser, ultrasound or microwave radiation. InvisaShield can detect intruders who violate a sensing zone ranging from millimeters up to 1 meter. Invisa's SmartGate safety system generates an invisible protective field that moves with and precedes the potentially hazardous leading edge of powered gates, garage doors, sliding doors and other powered closures. With an estimated 60,000 new parking control gates installed each year, and an installed base of over 1,000,000 gates worldwide, an enormous market currently exists for Invisa's SmartGate technology. In addition to parking gates, Invisa is currently developing a similar line of products based on its patented InvisaShield technology for the overhead, garage and industrial door markets and for the museum security market.
